Hoping somebody can offer assistance because I'm worried about my mother. She is 76 & had a hip replacement on right side about 2 years ago due to arthritis (pain was not in her hip but in her thigh). Anyway, she did the prescribed physical therapy after surgery & the therapist said she was doing well. However, for at least over a year, she gets numb toes in her right foot (same side as surgery). Last week she decided to stop driving due to not having feeling in the foot that goes on gas & brake pedals. I am concerned because this problem could also cause her to fall while walking! We need our toes to walk. She is not diabetic & otherwise pretty healthy. She has reported this to her doctors but they don't have an answer. Has anybody experienced the same & what did you do about it?? She is going to doctor TODAY & I am hoping for some quick responses so I can tell her something to bring up to the dr. Thanks!
