I was on orthocyclen until July--I ran out of pills and couldn't get a refill until August, but I was supposed to wait for my period to start before starting the new pack of pills. On 8/8/2013, I was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and started 10 days of flagyl. AF began on 8/13/2013 and I started my pack of pills then. AF was relatively heavy (having been off of BC for more than a month, this was expected. On BC, they are usually only heavy one day, then 3-5 days of pink spotting). On 8/24/2013, I visited my boyfriend and left my BC at home. We had unprotected sex twice. I wasn't able to take my birth control again until 8/26/2013. The morning of 8/26/2013, I woke up feeling like I'd either wet myself and started bleeding again....there was so much clear discharge that I left a spot on the sheets. I ended up taking 2 pills for 2 consecutive days to make up for the 2 missed pills. Since 8/27/2013, I have had major pregnancy symptoms. My breasts feel heavy and swollen, I'm moody (snapping at my mother--which I NEVER do, crying at the drop of a hat, unreasonably angry at silly things), nausea, food cravings (I have gone through several bags of tortilla chips and jars of salsa), twinges in my lower abdomen, acne on my face and back, bloated like crazy, dizzy spells, peeing all the time. My discharge has been odd too. I went back to the doctor at the end of August and I either hadn't gotten rid of the bacterial infection (or it came back....I'm very prone to those) so she gave me a one dose treatment of Tindamax. She did a urine pregnancy test which was negative. I anticipated my next AF on 9/10/2013. But I started bleeding on 9/5/2013 and it was odd. I had two days of dark red clots and two days of brownish discharge. Then nothing. Except the pregnancy symptoms are still happening. I feel crazy because I've taken at least 6 hpts since then, and they are all BFN. Could I be pregnant? Am I going insane? Between the new pack of pills, all the antibiotics, and these crazy symptoms, I'm not sure. I've never been pregnant before. I'm going to test again tomorrow morning. Sigh.
