I'm teaching sports conditioning this morning and hope to get a good workout. I did the UrbanFit class yesterday and was, again, underwhelmed. It's not quite lifting, it's not quite anything much. We did some squats, long rests, some chest presses, long rest, then a 12 minute long segment of overheat squats, side obliques and windmill. It was tiring on the shoulders but nothing else. I don't get that people who like crossfit do it but maybe they go heavier. I just hate lifting. I told the instructor at the end that I really don't care to build more strength at this point. I can do 30+ militarypush ups, a few unassisted pull ups. I don't care to be able to do more. Bah hum bug to all the stuff I preach!
I just realized how fast the month is going and I leave next Friday for my ski week at Killington. I'm overwhelmed, honestly, by how much I have to do to get ready for Christmas!
