Whew, nothing like an aerial silks class after a couple of months off to feel completely out of shape! The funny thing w/ silks is that my muscles exhaust so quickly that I don't even feel them get tired. I've never experienced anything like it but I'll do inversion moves (turning upside down) and not feel my abs/core at all. But suddenly on the next one, I can't flip over. I've got a lot of tightness now that I have to work through but it was good to be back. And, what I've really lost is grip strength. I felt like I was going to slip at times. So, after two hours of working out yesterday I'm not sure I'll do anything today but I do know I need to work out more. The problem is skiing is tiring enough four days a week. This week has just flown by w/ my son being home. I bring him back tomorrow and he won't be home until after finals. Boo. What are you all up to this weekend?
