2 (21 oz) cans apple pie filling
1 white or yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup almonds or pecans, chopped
Spread pie filling on bottom of greased 4 1/2 to 6-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle cake mix over top. Drizzle butter evenly over cake mix, then sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.
