Aly finished her project book, though it was a rough ride-having only 2 months to complete the ENTIRE book. This project book, while still 4th-6th grade, required the participants to do EVERY activity, while her first book she had to do only 2 activities (and she placed first at Achievement Day) and the second book she had to do only 4 activities (and she placed first again). So, a 4th grader doing the Photography would've also had to do EVERY activity in the book as well--that doesn't make any sense.
Her record book doesn't have her certificates from last year in it because she never got them. They were most likely given to her elementary school, which passed them on to the junior high that Aly is not attending.
They are doing a raffle for students at our school only right now ($40 Wal-mart gift card) and each student has to sell a minimum of 5 tickets and they will do another raffle (not just students) soon after.
Achievement Day is at the end of April and their field trip will be to an alligator hatchery (my class went on this field trip 2 years ago, so I've been, though Aly hasn't).
She doesn't plan to join 4-H next year, though. I think the project book did her in.
