This was the second time Dh and I had been on an Alaska Cruise. The first one we took 12 years ago for our 25th wedding anniversay. We enjoyed it as much as the first one. So relaxing to be on a cruise, dh is well along in his recovery from getting those knee replacements. The food was wonderful. Alaska is so beauftiful and even though we didn't do a lot of walking in the cities the ship stopped at we did go off roading in a jeep and to a salamon bake and whale watching. Dh thought he was safe from me doing much shopping because he was unable to walk to far for very long. I managed to buy a few things and I think he forgot that shops on board the ship that are open when the ship is at sea. We had three full days at sea. Found some great sales and even managed to find a jade ring and matching bracelet for a really great price.

We came home feeling rested and happy just what we needed after going through Dh getting those knees replaced. Unfortunately both of us came down with colds the day after we got home. We are feeling better though so all in all it was just about perfect.
