Sorry to be a board hog. The old way made me look less so on the other boards I post at. Now you just see lucky, lucky, lucky everywhere.

I was just wondering if adults are supposed to get boosters. I got vaxed as a child 30 plus years ago but got pertussis about 10 years ago. If I could have gotten a vax for it, I would rather have done that then get whooping cough. It was the scariest thing. If you've ever accidentally inhaled your drink before and that feeling of your whole chest and throat just clamping down. That's what pertussis feels like. When you try and draw in your breath you truely do sound like a monster. And, when you finally can draw in breath, you cough so violently that you vomit. AND it strikes out of nowhere. I didn't know what it was. I had it for a week or so and finally went to the doc after nearly crashing my car when it happened while driving.

GIMME A SHOT ANY DAY OVER THAT!!
