I'm the mother of a healthy 8 month old DD. Her only health issues since birth have been getting colds that turn into ear infections since going into daycare. She's had 3 since mid-June, though since starting her on powdered probiotics she hasn't had one in a month and a half (she was getting them every 3-4 weeks).
Anyway, DD is on an alternative vaccine schedule, spacing them out mainly because in NJ if your child is in daycare or school they have to have quite a few shots unless you have religious exemption. So I decided to definitely split them up and opt out of a few that aren't required by the state.
My big problem now is this whole H1N1 deal. The vaccine scares me because it hasn't run the normal series of testing that most vaccines go through before going on the market. But the H1N1 flu virus terrifies me as well.
