I'm new here to this board. I'm hoping to get support and give support to those of us wishing to lose alot of weight! I have about 95-100 total to lose and I think its going to be tough! Currently, I jazzercise and go to a body sculpting class. I LOVE to walk/run, however, this darn plantar fasciitis has me not being able to walk or run without extreme pain. So, I have to find other ways to lose weight. So, how did I get this large? Well, divorce, new friends = out to eat alot!! I don't care what they say - eating out will make ya gain weight! I am now not going out to eat (MAYBE once a week lunch, but nothing more), and I fill myself with salads, baked chicken, protein drinks, and snacks such as carrots, or celery, or even nonfat pudding. This is SO hard. Most my friends are either of average weight or not wanting to work out. So, I'm on my own. I do have a friend who wants to start running. I'll try that slowly, but I'm not sure how I'll do with my foot. :( I'm wanting to learn to like the elliptical machine or even the bike, but nothing beats walking/running to me.
Just wanted to say hi & have a place I can come to for food/workout advice and to cheer me on. And for me to cheer yall on as well!! We can do it!!!
