You are a Miracle
The Inner Wealth and Greatness and Worthiness campaign was going very well. One day I was feeling particularly down in the dumps and I knew if I needed a pick me up, the kids probably did too.
“YOU ARE A MIRACLE.”
Out in the hall I go. Within a few minutes, students are saying it: to me, to each other, and about themselves.
“I AM A MIRACLE!”
“SO ARE YOU!”
“Am I really a miracle, Mrs. T?”
Yes. Yes you are a miracle.
These signs have made me a celebrity of sorts and that was never my intention. Where are the signs today Mrs. T? What new sign is next Mrs. T? Who is Winston Churchill, and what does, “Never, Never, Never…Never Give Up,” mean?
My intention is to silently broadcast these messages. Students flock to my door faster than groupies on the Beatles to get a little smidge of Inner Wealth. Mrs. T! Mrs. T! Hi!! Hi!!
Today a student comes to the door with two friends. “Hi Mrs. T, don't you remember me? You said I was a MIRACLE!”
“Yes I do remember…how is your miracle-dwelling self today?”
They are walking down the hall…
“She said I was a miracle.”
“She can see my greatness.”
“She said never, never, never, never give up.”
“She said I am worthy.”
“She said I matter.”
“She said she believes in me.”
Yes. Yes I do.
Thank goodness for the Miracles.
