The doctor said yes he is very different, you are right. Then I hauled out all my back up and for once my hubby did not cross talk me or poo poo me out of it.

Pdoc for once starting asking for our family history, even though I tried to cram it down his throat on our first visit. He said it is highly probable that Jamie has either early onset BP or BP and ADHD. He said that before our appt he had drafted a plan of med changes but now armed with this NEW (not) information he is sending us to meet the Head of Pediatric Psychiatric Medicine at the childrens hospital for Jamie to be evaluated for a more dramatic medication change, something he was not comfortable doing without a second opinion, this he said was because he was only 4.5. I understood

So...now I get to see someone who is approaching the situation from a new angle, treat the mood disorder first, that's what Jamie's pdoc said he would do, and then if it's not changing the ADHD symptoms attack that second.

I could just cry with joy, I've been waiting for this moment for 2 years
