I have noticed that Katlyn (9) is start to keep things that I know I have thrown away. All types of things but primarily newsapapers, old bills, cards.....basically all things made of paper. I first noticed it when she was playing with her wallet and I saw some old cards in there that I had thrown out. I wrote it off as her pretending like they were credit cards but now everytime I have helped her clean her room (in the last two months) I have found stacks of paper in the closet, dresser, under the bed and so forth. When I asked her about it she said she wanted them and thought it was okay to take them because they were in the trash. What concerned me was how upset she got when I told her we needed to put them back in the trash. She became very aggitated and had a meltdown. I thought we had come to an understanding about only keeping important things but then today as I was going through her school bag I came across two seperate stashes of paper.
