and my nerves are nearly shot! I have my two kids (10 and almost 5, b/g) and 8 yo dcb and his almost 6 yo dcg. The dck are here 7-5. This week is spring break (except for my dd, she's in preschool in a different district). I've had the kids outside, at the park, etc. But OMG!!!!!! The dcb is so freaking loud! His playing voice booms thru the house no matter how many times I ask him to tone it down. Today they (boys) were wresting and carrying on so much I was ready to explode! The dcg tends to be negative about everything, kind of snotty and know it all too. The way this is going I don't know how I'll get thru the summer with my nerves in tact.

And the dcb, he seems clingy of my son.Like if one of the neighbourhood kids asks ds to play basketball outside and C (dcb) doesn't want to and stays inside he pouts, At the playground ds tears around and C just kind of trails him and commontates. If ds goes on the swing, C follows. He says things like 'are we going on the swings now?' Ds sometimes turns down invites to play because he feels (I think) obligated to C. Dont get me wrong, C is a nice boy and they are good friends. Ds even said the other day "C looks so lonely if I don't play with him, like he's not having fun" and I told ds many times over, I am C's caregiver, not him and C is the one who makes his fun, ds is not responsible for him or for his fun. (did I mention, if it makes a difference, C is about 10-15 lbs overweight) I'm starting to ramble. Its just been a really long, loud day.
