    Hello All;

    Well I am going to have to re-evaluate my life and being single because lets face it the truth of the matter is finding someone at this stage of life seems pretty challenging. Dont know if I should move or just face the facts its a done deal for me and find something else to do.. or just give up and know it is not going to happen ...

  4. Re: Teenage sons - Internet/computer schedule

    Hi guys,

  5. Re: I feel so foolish

    Please no harsh words here. I decided to sign up and post because I have no one else to talk to.  I just felt like venting this out and consider your opinions. I have been married for 4 years with one 4 year old and I am currently 9 months pregnant. My husband and I have been together since high school and are 27/29 years old now. We have always been fighting on and off and have come close a few times of really ending it (only over about how much we argued but no serious issues).

  6. Feedback Please

    Dear Mike,

    No matter WHAT your wife thinks of you, you are welcome here. Also, it is not a requirement that you post an exercise before you critique someone. The only serious rules I guess are a) don't post any work here that is NOT the monthly exercise. There are other boards for that. And b) when critiquing, encouragement is the name of the game, tho honest feedback/criticism is fine (no slamming anyone).

  7. Re: QOTD for MONDAY

    I have a big list of QOTD ideas.   Some are pretty good.   No way am I going into that reserve and blowing a good question.

    So the obvious question is Who is Here?   If you can post, what problems are you still having?

  8. Re: The longest day

    Welcome back, Cthelight

    Hopefully, this time you will stay close to the Board so you can be actually IN the light for good. Going back and forth is sheer torture. You just got to do it to get through it.  It's painful, we know, but you have to sit in it for a while...there is no way around it.

  9. Re: Planning for college - I need advice!

    Great that you want to go back to school!  I was lucky to have a scholarship cover some of my tuition, plus I used work/study to cover my expenses.  But my youngest brother is off to a rough start out of high school - I have been helping him with the same things you are talking about, researching online.  Here are some sites that I found helpful:

  10. Re: Daily Chatter 10-22-12

    Andrea-Yippie!  SO happy it went well & that life can get back to normal now.

    Hilarie-You could do the same thing with your credit card-just keep a constant tally on where you are on your bill.  The beauty part of that is that you can just track it daily on their web sites, so every night you could look at where you are for this billing cycle.  DH always knows how much I've spent at Costco before I even take the receipt out of my wallet...  ;)
