Re: Three for Thursday

It's a multi-color noodle. Its fairly new and I've tried it once, One of those items that I wouldn't go back to, Lots of artificial color and flavor that doesn't taste right to me.

Actually there are no artificial flavors or colors in Wacky Mac. Maybe it's the natural flavors of veggies that doesn't appeal to you?

Re: Sunday Football
I don't see how you can claim to have an "excellent" curriculum that doesn't include some element of experiential learning. Going on field trips to different sites to investigate things with all five senses is how children learn.
Where did I say we didn't?

Going on field trips to different sites to investigate things with all five senses is how children learn. It is not "extra" to me. Not having them would be a "deficiency" in the curriculum. I have no patience with people who say that they have no children in the district and it is unfair that they have to pay school taxes.

Re: News Sources
Mostly from digital sources. For local news I have an iPad app for a local tv station and use the browser to access the local PBS station's website and another online-only news source that covers more political and civic types of stories. For national and international news again via the iPad, we have a tablet and computer subscription to the NY Times; and I have the app for BBC News. I also occasionally visit the Huffington Post website.
