I know domestic abuse is a very serious problem..but I am now witnessing a very sad and serious case of false abuse charges that are now causing a very ill man with progressive and aggressive cancer to use all of his energy to fight for the right to be with his children instead of fighting for his life. This man is only 40 years old and his only fault is not wanting to be married to this person who is a borderline mental case.
How much is too much?
My Sister, the School Teacher
My sister was/is in an abusive relationship. She has always been a elementary school teacher, kind of square. Yet she allows this man to abuse her mentally and I am sure physically. She left him for a year (yet stayed in the same neighborhood). To make matters worse, he is in a wheelchair, someone shot him. She feels it is her duty to take care of him, he drinks, talks bad to her and yet she stays. I pray for my sister. I know she is unhappy.
