maraileene, I'm glad you're here, it is so good to hear the perspective of a child who grew up seeing abuse...
though I am so sorry that that is the reason you are here. I'd rather no children ever endure the unhappy childhood you did. Please keep posting. I know it can only help folks who have children and lose sight of what the yelling and screaming does to the little ones.

I don't get it. DH was out of house for 2 months begging me to let him come back....
I got restraining order early Aug. because he came home late at night (after typical drinking at favorite bar) & started throwing all kinds of things around. I'd had it with that so I got PO & was seriously thinking of ending marriage as I can't stand his uncontrollable rages & let him know these were my feelings.
Can you relate to this?
First of all, I almost feel guilty for posting these types of things, since they aren't as serious as say someone holding a knife to your throat. I almost think we need two boards. But I need to vent, so here goes.
