Anyone been where I am??

just a quickie.... 9-4

Is it abuse?

Is it abuse when he doesn't let you go down the block to the store without a huge argument? When he doesn't let you talk or hang out with your friends without him? When he doesn't let you talk to a guy (even if it is a very good friend). If he doesn't let you drive yourself to your parent, rather he drops you off there and picks you up (its a 3 hour drive) with your truck? When he doesn't like you to be late or if you go somewhere and he constantly gives you the third degree, when he can go when he wants?

Just thought I'd check in

I see my question about being both abused and abuser in #9 got a lot of replies. Thanks for all the support and the excellent advice about the high ground. To whoever said they like my handle: Guess where it came from? An argument.

Please have a wonderful and SAFE holiday weekend!... ( M)( 9-3)

Hey everyone! I hope all of you have a fantastic long weekend. I hope you all have fun and relax a little.

I do have to warn you though:

PLEASE REMEMBER, long weekends like this are notorious for increased alcohol comsumption and reports of domestic abuse. If you get in a situation that is uncomfortable or dangerous, PLEASE get to safety ASAP! PROTECT yourself and your children ( if you have them ) at all costs.

I Need help!

Priceless

A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.
