Hi all.
Been doing some research for someone recently who is looking at the issue of race in football/soccer in England.
One of the more fascinating things I've looked into is how in cities with more than 1 team, that there is usually one team that is noticeably the 'Black' team of the city, at least more so than the other.
Sometimes this can be for simple reasons like one team is far better than the other, so Black AND White kids are just more likely to choose a certain team.
In an interview with ivillage, Eva Mendes was asked if men hit on her often. This was her response:
Do you think they are out-dated?
Do you send paper cards to anyone? When/for what reason?
Do you receive paper cards? If yes, what do you do with them?
Do you like to give/receive paper cards?
The First Lady’s office told ABC they would have no comment on the crashers and referred all inquiries to the Secret Service.
Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan confirms that the agency is looking “into a report that two individuals not on the guest list were in the event.”
They sure were. The Post has pictures from Michaele Salahi’s Facebook page that clearly show the two in pictures with attendees at the state dinner and there is video of the two on the red carpet inside the White House grounds.
WINDERMERE, Fla. (AP) - The mystery over a Tiger Woods' car crash intensified when his agent called state troopers on their way to Woods' house on Saturday and asked them to wait another day before speaking to him.
What's up this weekend? Post-Thanksgiving shopping? Rest? Share!
I'll go first:
I'm looking forward to a long weekend, since Monday is Independence Day here for us. I have a staff function to attend tonight that just might be fun. Tomorrow is shopping with SO and we're supposed to be going to watch cricket (only cuz he really wants me to!) tomorrow night. Not sure about Monday yet.
. . . to our American Boardies.
What are you thankful for this year?
Great? Not so great? Hectic? Stressful? Anything exciting happen?
What's up for the weekend?
