Any AA mothers raising teens in Tuscon or other Arizona cities as well as through the country? I am in NY and need a change. My brother is moving to the area and I'm considering it so that our children will be together. Any input is much appreciated.I am open to anywhere and all suggestions.
I sent you an e-mail through the ivillage feature, just wondering if you got it? If not, send me an e-mail at ms_quiana@hotmail.com .

Good afternoon ladies,

This question is for a friend of mine, I am NOT pregnant LOL! Anyway, she is confused about if she can continue to get her hair permed while pregnanct, and generally what happens to your hair while pregnant. She got one perm before she knew she was pregnant, and is wondeing what to do?

What were your haircare experiences while pregnant? Does hair grow longer, thicker, or does it thin out? Any advice you can share will be passed along to my friend.

Good morning ladies,

WELL, I finally did it! When I move next week, I am going to register for online dating! A friend of mine tried it, and for $25, I don't think it will hurt to try. A friend of mine is doing it right now, and she has had a few fun dates. According to her, it beats sitting at home and making it a Blockbuster night - every night!

Hi,

Im in Canada and Im thinking of moving to Boston. I plan to get a MBA at Harvard.

However, there are some issues that are slowing me down...well scaring me.

First of all, Im french canadian. The media in canada leads me to beleive that there is alot of hate towards canadians, towards anyone who speaks french, and of course towards blacks and arabs, etc.

I dont know what to think. I do know that there are alot of canadians in boston and alot of africans who speak french.

I was flipping through channels this morning while eating breakfast and I came upon Creflo Dollar. Now I don't normally watch TV evangelists, but he had an interesting message. He said that before you get married, you should be developed as a whole person. He said a lot of singles want so badly to get married, that they don't work on themselves prior to marriage and discovering what they want out of life and they usually marry and end up miserable, or they marry someone who is a half person too. Do you find this to be true?
O'MGosh!!! Laddddeeeeezzzz!!!!! Not trying to toot my own horn but, HOOT.....HOOT!!!!

I went to the PAR--TAY and had a wonderful time!!! I first went, got my nails, feet and face done. Got my hair done in a very sexy style. Picked up the perfect "form fitting dress" Spaghetti straps, lots of cleavage, with the back OUT, showing off all my bronze skin. Oh yeah, it was thigh high showing off my thighs and calves that I worked all winter to achieve. Hee, hee, hee,....... Purchased some sexy sandles, with heels with the straps lacing to the calves.

Hello Everyone

I was just wondering if any of you have ever gone through a stage in your life whether some big trial or tribulation, break up, etc. in which you started to become someone else (take on certain behaviors, attitudes, actions, etc.) that you didn't like seeing in yourself? Someone much different than who you actually were and who you had ever been.

I'd like to know how you dealt with seeing this side of yourself you didn't like and what steps did you take to correct it and make peace with yourself.

Carmen
