Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of you that sent up prayers and well wishes to help me find a church!! They've been answered!!! This Sunday, I went to a church a friend suggested. It couldn't have been better. They called it a worship experience and boy was it. I felt that if God was looking down on the congregation he'd be smiling. The place was crowded all the way up to the balcony. I didn't see one person leave early, even though the service was two and a half hours long. At the end, every person in church held hands and collectively raised them up to the Lord.
Good morning ladies,

I don't mean to brag - okay, I do - BUT, this weekend, I bought a pair of size 12 jeans - and they actually fit! Now, they are stretch, but still, a size 12 - WOO HOO! I almost died. Didn't even want to try them on, but my aunt talked me into it, and boy, am I glad that I did! I have worn them twice (yes, I'm that excited), and they are not too tight, and actually have a little room in them (that's what I get for not having a butt).

Welcome back from a looooooooooooooooooong weekend! I'm fully rested and relaxed!!!!! I needed that! How was your weekend and holiday? Did you do anything to commemorate the holiday?

Let's keep it simple:

How many credit cards do you have? How good are you at keeping the balance(s) low?

Here's to a gr8 week ladies!

!~Pisces~!

I'm not trying to make this a race issue but today I was thinking and trying to figure out and now I'm curious. When people first meet a new person do they see them as a race/ethnicity/color or as a sex, and when people first meet you what do you think they notice first--that you're a woman or African-American?
I got this in an e-mail from my aunt! It made my day (which was ULTRA crappy), hope it does the same for you over this weekend! Enjoy! ;o)

Living on Earth is expensive,

but it does include a free trip

around the sun every year.

How long a minute is

depends on what side of the

bathroom door you're on.

Birthdays are good for you;

the more you have,

Died last Saturday May 17th. She was 98 years old, and though she had her ups and downs, generally speaking she was in good health. Last Monday she moved into a nursing home. It was to be temporary until my mother finished the addition to her house that would allow my grandmother to move in with her. I took my children to see her Friday after work since they were leaving for a week with their father. I didn't want them to go away without saying good bye. I am so glad I did that.
It feels great to be off Monday, just the mere fact I have off has helped ME through the week, I dunno about y'all! ;o) On to the five!

1. Potato Salad or Coleslaw?

2. Out of all your friends/family who's the person that can SLAM on the grill?

3. WOC is having a cook out....what are you bringing? What should NOT be on the menu b/c of your dietary restrictions or simply b/c you don't like it!?

4. Planes, Trains, or Automobiles...what's the best mode of travel?

I pride myself on being a nice person even to these idiots that I work with. For the past 8 months they've been getting on the last nerve and I've kept my calm. They are always in my frickin business...always want to know about stuff that is none of their business. Now I don't usually mind sharing stuff with folks I can trust. But they are so evil and manipulative about it...I don't tell them CRAP SQUAT.
