“Let’s go flying!” Once again excitement over took Katy,

she felt tingly all over. “Really? You can take me flying?”

December Exercise

Where do I begin?

Dear Writing Experts:

I have had this burning desire to write a book about my experiences as an immigrant - about how I came here with nothing and how I got to where I am.

My purpose is to share with others life in America from an immigrant's point of view. I also hope that it could serve as an inspiration for people (immigrant or non-immigrant) about reaching their aspirations in life.

I plan to use a humorous tone (ala Erma Bombeck). I am better that way, and it is my personality.

Wild poem riders!

Do you have this moment?

At the end of a fine poem where the author’s glimpse enters you like air,

full of the exact nuance that oxygen brings to lungs its journey just beginning.

Her reddish brown hair sprung out of her head in big curly clumps and her eyes were absolutely huge and those absolutely huge eyes were staring at me, studying me as if I were some kind of weird bug.

"My name is Zendra," she repeated.
