Well I goofed,I posted to the wrong place.............
Thanks for the warm welcome, and for those who ask, you will have to expand the board and look at Jessica's message, I gave a brief description of the book there. Sorry, I goofed, I am still learning how to work these message boards.
I tried to get into the writing class on wednesday but didn't have the plug-in and therefore couldn't get in, my first attempt to download the plug-in failed, so I have to try it again, hopefully I'll have it by next wednesday.
Nov. exercise. As Mom would say, this is D-U-M!
BABY'S FIRST THANE-GIPPING
Gee it’s bright in here. My blankie is way down there at the bottom of the crib and I have that cold wet feeling in my bipers again. I think I’ll call Mom.
“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
Yep, sure as ever here she comes. Get me out of this cage, will ya? Yeah, yeah, precious angel is awake. Could you get rid of these nasty pants for me please? Ah! That’s better. Now downstairs, it’s time for beckfass!
tagteam part #10
Part #10 of the tagteam story that I started is now finished. It is posted at http://pages.ivillage.com/bc/janra/tagteam.html so go read it and tell me what you think.
I still need a title! There have been a few titles submitted so far, but I'd like a few more before my co-authors and I vote on a title.

November Exercise: A Christmas Eve to Remember
I had an hour and an idea--a second November exercise just for fun.
Eating an Elephant
The day was cloudless and a slight breeze was just strong enough to sway the grass slightly from south to north. The last gasp of summer had arrived, bringing with it the last of the picnickers in the semi-deserted park. The swings, long idle as children had returned to school, creaked in a rusty whine as if waiting for the patter of running feet to set them free.

November exercise
Angela stood at the window with her face pressed against the cold glass, looking like a child waiting for Santa. Big snowflakes glided gracefully by, covering the parking lot below.
"Will you crack the window? It's hot in here." Kyle was Angela's husband of a whole two weeks. She could envision him already being a lawyer, with his impressive looks and confident nature. At the moment, he was engrossed in the football game.
A Vignette for the November exrcise.
LAST FEAST.
My Dearest Joanne,
I Just Have Questions
Hi, is this where you write an assignment for the senses? I'm totally lost! Does one compose it on a word processor and then copy it in here? How many words are we talking? Am I too late for this assignment? To whom am I talking, as we speak? Hi, hello out there. Thanks.
Chat room?
I was wondering if there were any plans for a writing based general chat room (rather like the ivillage "lobbies")? Something that doesn't need a moderator, and was just for general writing discussion. I was thinking it might be nice to chat with other folks on this board as my scheduling permits, discuss the exercises we've posted, or problems we are having with them, or just touch base. Looking at the above posts about last night's class, maybe this would be an outlet for folks who DO want to share their personal stories without it impacting on class?
