October Exercise -- Short Story
Hi I'm new
October Writing Exercise
Gaynord and the Magic Harpsichord
A long, long time ago a wandering musician strolled down the roads of the English countryside. Upon first sight, many mistook the slim, young musician for a lad, but she was indeed a young maiden. She carried a small harpsichord on her back and would stop in towns to play for food and lodging before continuing on her journey.
One day she approached a small village and decided to stop for the night. As she drew near to the heart of town, a loud and burly townsman stopped her.
Well Everybody asked for it so here it is. There is no title yet and I may do more on it later. Enjoy!

My October Writing Exercise
I've got a tale for you, one that should be taught to every child over the age of two. The minute they start grabbing at stuff that isn't theirs, you tell them how I taught Cassandra a lesson. See if they don't run from the room, vowing to be good.
Short Story: The Answer Is In Your Heart
Writing from the Heart
Are the participants familiar with the book, Writing from the Heart, by Nancy Slonim Aronie? I have taken her writing workshop in Chilmark, MA (on Martha's Vineyard island) several times. It is marvelous. For more details, I can give you a contact. The address is: 1 West Meadow, Chilmark, MA 02535.
"A Writer in Each of Us" Chat Thursday night at 10 pm ET - iVillage Special Events Chat Room. DON'T FORGET!
Apologies Given
Hi All,
Just wanted to say "Sorry" for the above mess I created with all of the incorrect posts. And I thought a first impresssion was awkward face to face :::kicking toes in the dirt and blushing::: I'll try to contain my excitement a little better the next time.
Lynn
