Yes, I'll take more time

You are absolutely right. I quickly threw that out in a sense of panic. Feeling that if I didn't "just do it" I would chicken out. So I will take some time with a rewrite and post it. The hard part is out of the way at any rate. WHEW!

Thank you,

Billie

Chasing after the Wind (2nd attempt)

Question to cl-Ozarker:

I'm not being defensive but... is it really not okay to say "clatteringly fall?" ??? I love adverbs.

Do you mean that it's not grammatically correct, or do you mean that it makes the sentence sound clunkily constructed? (hee hee) sincerely, (oh, i could entertain myself all day!) -K

April Exercise

This is definately not my usual writing style. Just playing around with these characters ************************************************************

Elizabeth Brower lifted the cold, long necked bottle to her mouth, downing several swallows of the mellow beer. She set it down, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, and turned to Dr. Jack Lovell, sitting beside her. “How on earth did you get your hands on this, out here, in the middle of nowhere?” she asked.
