Here's hoping you had a great holiday...
I would like to find out how to add a link. I actually DO have a webpage @ msncommunities. It's under bigirlnow22@msn.communities// something or other. I guess I need to copy the address so you guys can just check my work there. If you will be doing that, also, I will need to find out how to archive my stuff when the board gets too crowded.
SOO, let me know, okay?
Hope you all had a great Christmas, and have a peaceful and productive new year! (nt)

Writing Exercise Part 1 - New to the board! :)
Goodnight, girls. See you 12-26-01...Will update post then...Merry Christmas!!!
Looking Back #9-The plane, the airport....good God, it's a two year old!
Kate smothered a sigh, as a dignified young black woman set her things in the seat directly next to her. Bad enough she was on something no wider than a bus, but now she has to sit in someone's lap? It just took the cake that day.
She didn't mind getting turned away from the curbside check-in. She could handle the long wait for her tardy flight. This, however, ruined everything. She couldn't even fit her small duffel bag into an over head compartment, the plane was that small!
Looking Back RD # 8
Just when you think you know what to expect from an airport, the people get nicer, and suddenly, this wonderful set of luggage arrives in the mail on your birthday.
That would pretty much set the scene. Yep. Kate shook her head as, in spite of many extensive problems with her identification, her social security card seemed to clear it all up in about thirty to forty-five seconds.
Making Faces
I remember the hallway, lined with turquoise shag carpet and puctuated by a full length mirror at the end...two, maybe three years old watching myself grow as I got closer to the glass...
A face maker. "Putty face", Van called me. Bigger brother by eight years, he enjoyed, I think, the comic, broadway aspirations of his younger sister: The way I stared, for hours it seemed, into the cold reflection, changing faces and exploring the animation I was capable of creating.
