Karen, et all, the November Exercise! (m)

Try this: Picture a truly perilous situation -- perhaps a child in danger. Now, break it down into short, easily described actions or scenes. As you begin writing, show the readers each scene as if it were a movie, frame by frame, describing the action with concrete and sensory details.

How to get there? http://www.ivillage.com/books/expert/writecoach/articles/0,11872,243586_15638,00.html

All Of The Boards Had A Surprise Archive!

We had a bad morning here at Readers and Writers channel. We got a new board, and the old board doesn't show in the archives.

If you'd like to see yesterday's board -- number 64 -- you can get to it this way:

http://boards1.ivillage.com/messages/get/bcafter64.html

Can everyone who posted on it a day or so ago, please post their work again? That way we can all get to read the latest stories!
