My goals
1) To finish what I start.
2) Don't let the week of the 20th blind me from my goals.
3) Take my time when writing.
4) Don't sit at the computer till I can't feel my butt any longer.
5) One chapter at a time.
6) Read my work out loud.

1)To get the writing exercise done-heheheh.
2)To enter some work in our local Writer's Guild contest.
3)To finish the murder mystery short story I started several months ago.
4)To really, really, really enjoy autumn, which should be spectacular here in the Ozarks this year.

They number only one. They are to add 25 pages or more to my novel and therefore to have lots of fun.
OK, so it's a poem out of format. I'm usually a little out of tune.

Hi! My main character is telling the story. What is correct? Should she say couldn't or could not? She is talking about her sister and some of her favorite memories.

Looking Ahead to October (m)
Everyone always wants a sneak preview of the monthly exercise and lesson. This month, thanks to sheer exhaustion on my part, it would either be early or it would be very late. So here it is - a few hours early:
Try this: List all the habits of strength that you can work into your routine, all the ways you can achieve long-term solace and quick solutions.
Now, write about a time when you were absolutely blissful. Where were you? Who were you with?
