To say Frances Bean Cobain is upset with her mother is an understatement! Courtney Love took to Twitter Tuesday night to accuse Dave Grohl of trying to seduce her daughter, and now Cobain is lashing out against Love's claims.
"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn," says Cobain, 19. "I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."
Cobain goes on with an easy fix for her mother's false claims: "Twitter should ban my mother."
Love, who has a protected Twitter account, has aired her grievances about her late husband Kurt Cobain's bandmates in the past -- and this latest "tirade" against the Foo Fighters frontman, 43, is one more insult in the continuing feud with the remaining members of Nirvana.
"I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead," Love, 47, twittered on Tuesday.
"Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant," Grohl, who's married with two children, said via his rep. "These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."
Frances is engaged to her musician (and Kurt Cobain-lookalike) boyfriend Isaiah Silva, frontman of the rock band the Rambles.
