Fresh and Fruity Shakes

The idea is simple – take the most delicious fruits you can find, just ripe and ready to eat, and blend them with crushed ice for smoothies or milk for milkshakes.

    Ingredients

    1/2 pint (300 ml) milk, or freshly squeezed juice of 2 oranges 1/2 glass crushed ice (ice cubes crushed with a rolling pin)

      Put the milk or orange juice and crushed ice in a blender. Add the fruit of your choice ( 1 banana, 1 pear, or 1 handful berries)

      Blend the mixture at high speed until smooth, thick and bubbly.

      Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
