    Ingredients

    1 cups dried figs 2 teaspoons honey
    cup dried apricots cup sliced almonds
    cup crystallized or candied ginger

      With a sharp knife, remove the stems from the figs.

      In the bowl of a food processor, add the figs, apricots, ginger, and honey. Process until the fruit is finely chopped and begins to stick together.

      Using your hands, roll the fruit into balls, 1-inch in diameter. Place the balls onto a waxed paper-lined sheet tray; set aside.

      Place the almonds in a single layer on a sheet tray. Toast the almonds in a 350°F oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until they are fragrant and begin to turn brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Using a rolling pin, crush the almonds into small pieces.

      Roll the fruit balls in the nuts.
