Fun (and Easy) Indoor Parties

• "We had a pirate party last year. I bought a ton of old jewelry at garage sales and wrapped it all in foil. After each game every kid got to pick a piece out of a treasure chest (cardboard box painted to look like a wooden chest). We had a pirate ship piñata, played pin the patch on the pirate and had a treasure hunt. The invites looked like treasure maps burned around the edges and delivered in old plastic pop bottles. We had an under the sea cake with a treasure chest full of Smarties on top. The kids wore pirate bandanas on their heads and we face painted on mustaches and beards and scars. It was a blast!"
