Watch Gabourey Sidibe Hit on Gerard Butler!

What we wouldn't give for a good dose of Gabourey Sidibe's confidence! The Precious star -- known for an effusive personality that happens to represent the polar opposite of her Oscar-nominated role as an abuse victim -- took her stride down the Academy Awards' red carpet as an opportunity to flirt with handsome Bounty Hunter star Gerard Butler. And you better believe he flirted back!

The hilarious exchange began out as a Q&A with Access Hollywood. Sidibe, 26, was telling red-carpet reporter Billy Bush that she'd recently stepped on Butler's feet. When Bush spotted Butler nearby, Sidibe commented: "He's kinda sexy. I'd hit that." And as Butler, 40, approached the young actress for an introduction, Bush couldn't help asking Sidibe to repeat herself.

"I said 'I'd hit that,'" Sidibe said nonchalantly as Butler blushed and laughed. "I'm not ashamed!"

"I'm available! Let's go!" the Scottish star replied, as cameras rolled. He then turned the conversation on Billy Bush, joking that Bush wanted to "hit that," too.

"I like where this is going!" Sidibe said breezily. "Maybe we should get a bottle of champagne and see where the night takes us?"

"Yeah, let's go get a room!" Butler chimed in.

As Sidibe walked off to meet her public, Butler was still giggling. Turns out he was just warming up -- multiple sources say that he was grinding on the dance floor with Madonna at Demi Moore's after-party. As for Sidibe -- with that kind of charm and moxie, plus her new "It" girl status, we don't think she'll be single for long!
