There's been a lot of talk about what's next for Gabourey Sidibe, since her Oscar-recognized role in last year's Precious. Well, we can tell you one place the 26-year-old actress will be strutting her stuff -- on the Saturday Night Live stage! According to E! News, the deal "literally just happened."

Sidibe's SNL debut date has not been set, but the host lineup for the next four weeks of the sketch show are already set with Jennifer Lopez hosting April 3, followed by Tina Fey, Ryan Phillippe, and, yes, there's a Mother's Day-themed episode coming with Betty White.

If you miss Sidibe's late-night SNL gig, don't fret. You can catch the Brooklyn-born actress in Showtime's new series The Big C, premiering in August, in which she costars opposite Laura Linney. Sidibe will also appear in Sundance Lab's new flick, Yelling to the Sky.
