Pickled eggs used to be a staple bar item; while you’ll no longer find them everywhere, they're a fun novelty food to serve with martinis. These are incredibly easy to make and get better the longer they sit in your refrigerator.
Rori Trovato
| 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled | 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns | |
| 4 garlic cloves, sliced thinly | 1 tablespoon juniper berries | |
| 1 cup pickle juice (liquid from jar of dill pickles) | 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes | |
| 2 bay leaves |
In a large jar, combine all the ingredients.
Refrigerate for at least 3 days. The longer the eggs marinate, the stronger the flavor. They can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
