The details of former child star Gary Coleman's life and death seem to get more troubling with each new report. According to RadarOnline.com, Coleman, who passed away at the age of 42 last month after a head injury in his home, had filed for a restraining order on ex-wife Shannon Price -- mere months before she took him off life support.
In the document, Coleman claimed that Price had moved back into their home against his wishes, while he was hospitalized for a seizure. The Diff'rent Strokes star also stated that Price "has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home."
Coleman was indeed granted the restraining order on Feb. 19, 2010, but never served it to his ex-wife. Price has since been under scrutiny for rumors that she has tried profiting off of Coleman's death. As Radar notes, Price posed for photos with Coleman while he was on his deathbed and did interviews for money a mere 24 hours within his passing.
Coleman's former agent Robert Malcolm told the website, "The dynamics of their relationship were very unhealthy. This time, he knew he needed to break away so he made sure she was not allowed in his home, but then he had feelings for her even though she was abusive, and so he allowed her back into his home."
Malcolm also alleges that ex-manager Dion Mial and Coleman's friend and former costar Todd Bridges begged Price "not to pull the plug" and that Coleman himself wished prolong his life. Truly, such sad revelations.
