It's obvious that I love George Clooney for his looks -- but I'm not completely shallow. I whole-heartedly appreciate the man's self-deprecating humor and I simply adore that, even though he is a giant movie star, he never takes himself too seriously.
Case in point -- George's recent interview with Esquire magazine, in which the interviewer touches on some subjects that may have been uncomfortable for another, less-than-witty actor.
Most importantly, George was asked about his alleged fight with long-haired girly man, Fabio, who the actor reportedly had words with at a restaurant. After the incident, Fab was quoted saying that he could totally take George in a physical fight.
"Yeah, that's probably true. He's a big guy" George said of the model's comments. "There is a moment when you are actually in the argument and you're thinking, 'If I do get beaten down by Fabio, that will be far worse than the pain. I wouldn't shake that."
Other topics addressed by the actor? The fact that Donald Trump said the 5' 11 actor was "tiny".
"I saw Donald Trump on Larry King and he was saying, 'Clooney is a very short guy. I mean he's a tiny guy.' I've met Donald Trump once, and I was sitting at a table. He came over, shook my hand, and walked away. I guess I looked about three foot five sitting at that table."
Finally, Esquire found a website that insists that the actor is "gay, gay, gay." What did George have to say about that?
"No, I'm gay, gay. The third gay – that was pushing it."
I'm seriously in love with this man. I may just have to go all Single White Female on George's honey Sarah Larson.
