Matt Lauer recently slammed The National Enquirer for writing a story that claimed The Today Show host had cheated on and left his wife. In fact, Lauer, 52, called the report "a work of fiction".
Well, another male celebrity may soon have an axe to grind with the tabloid, as a scathing affair accusation about George Lopez splashes headlines. The National Enquirer claims that the late-night talk show host has cheated on his wife Ann Lopez (who, as People reported, gave him a kidney four years ago) with a prostitute.
A personal escort who goes by the name of "Tiffany" claims Lopez, 49, paid for sex with her, and later texted a request for a threesome. There's no telling whether this outrageous claim is true -- it could be another case of "fiction" as Lauer put it). But the last thing the world wants or needs is another Michelle "Bombshell" McGee or Rachel Uchitel, right?
