Gerard Butler Charged with Battery

Somehow this just makes him sexier.
Gerard Butler has been charged with criminal misdemeanor battery, after having an "altercation with a photographer" at 2 a.m. on Oct. 7.
According to TMZ.com, after leaving Crown Bar Gerard had words with a paparazzo and then punched him in the mouth a whole bunch of times. The actor's reps said this particular photographer had been stalking the star.
Gerard is due to be arraigned on June 10 -- he could face up to six months in jail if convicted.
