According to a new UK survey by Cosmopolitan, three-quarters of women feel like hiding under the covers while getting romantic. Seventy-three percent of respondents said it’s difficult to get in the mood when their body confidence has bailed on the boudoir.
But there’s no reason to let a pesky thing like bad body image kill your sex drive. Try these fun tips for getting your sexy back:
Role play. You dress up like the leader of a HazMat team, and he can be the clumsy professor who accidentally spilled hydrocholoric acid all over his chemistry lab. How can he see your cellulite when you’re wearing this?
Flip through the Kama Sutra. The ancient Indian text is filled with bizarre positions, but some are more flattering than others. Try the Cheek to Cheek. You may throw out your back but at least he won’t see your boobs, tummy, thighs and butt.
Try a little mood lighting. Your wobbly bits will disappear when the room is darker than a bat cave.
Get frisky al fresco. Do the deed outside, but only once the temperature has dipped below freezing. Puffy coats and snowpants hid a multitude of sins.
Invite a third party. One benefit of having a threesome: His attention will be split between you and the other woman. That means he’ll only be looking at you half the time. Bonus! Take it a step further and only invite a woman who’s bigger than you to join – you’re guaranteed to look skinnier in comparison.
