Call in the Troops:
My husband has little time to shop and doesn't like it anyway. So I have enlisted the help of my mom. I told her I wanted earrings with my son's birthstone for Mother's Day, so she put the bug in my husband's ear and offered to help him figure it out. It worked, and the earrings are beautiful. I used the same method to get my new wedding band. My mom and husband teamed up for Christmas last year and had a beautiful band made (they stole my old ring a couple of times and made me think I lost it).
Make a Wish List:
I went to my favorite jeweler, made a wish list and placed it, open-faced, on my husband's dresser with a love letter attached. He loved getting the list because it helped him get me exactly what I want -- no guessing involved! That's what all men really want to do when they spend money on you. To inspire future giving, be sure show off the present to your friends when he's nearby so he can feel like he mined, cut, polished and mounted it himself!
Surprise Each Other:
My husband and I both make lists of things we think are romantic, then we swap them and put them away. When least expected, one of us will pull out the list and surprise the other. You forget about the list after a few weeks, then -- bam! -- you get a surprise romantic evening from Hubby!
Give to Get:
In order for your man to be romantic and present you with presents, you must do the same. Stop at a corner flower stand and personally deliver roses to his office. Try buying some sexy cards and leaving them in his briefcase. Only a really insensitive guy would not return the favor.--iVillager skygods
