Why We Miss It: We know that this show didn’t start in the '90s, but we decided to add it to our list anyway—it's just that good. Gilmore Girls introduced us to the fast-talking single-mother-and-daughter duo Lorelai and Rory, who lived in the fictional Stars Hollow, a town where everyone knows everyone. Between the uber-frequent pop-culture references and discussions about politics and Lorelai's relationship with her parents, specifically mom Emily, it almost made us wish we had a family like the Gilmores. Lorelai even said that she and Rory were best friends first, mother and daughter second, and we totally miss watching them bond!
