And last night, Girlfriends felt compelled to address it. All the girlfriends and their men-- except for Lynn's man - cause well, she ain't got one-- were gathered at the J-Spot, Joan's restaurant, when the conversation turned to Valentine's Day. But Joan's new beau didn't believe in the sappy day. It's just another excuse corporations use to get money out of people, or so he'd say. The others were surprised by the news, knowing Joan is a sucker for a holiday. But Joan quickly brushed it off, with the lie that she doesn't believe in it anyway.
