The New England Patriots' 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl Sunday night was a bitter pill for many to swallow, leaving crushed Pats fans to wonder what went wrong. But whatever you do, don't tell supermodel Gisele Bundchen that her quarterback husband, Tom Brady, was to blame.
Moments after the Patriots' defeat, exuberant Giants fans heckled Gisele with cries of "Eli (Manning) owns your husband," as she left the VIP Area at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium.
The 31-year-old supermodel didn't quite see it that way -- and was captured on camera by The Insider voicing her very clear assessment of whom was at fault.
"You (have) to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball," she said, referring to the Patriots' receivers. She then pointed out that Brady, while talented, isn't Superman: "My husband can not f***ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times." Watch the video below!
Regardless of whose fault it was, the Patriots still walked away from their first Super Bowl in four years with a loss. (They also lost to the Giants in their last appearance in 2008.) And although Gisele wasn't so nice to Brady's teammates, we admire her for defending and then consoling (see photo above) her man. Brady didn't get that Super Bowl ring, but he sure does have a loyal wife.
