Give a Girl a Journal


You already know that letting your feelings flow through your fingers and onto the page can be incredibly cathartic; why not give that gift to a younger lady in your life? "Learning to capture our voices -- and then listen to them -- is a vital life skill," says Rosie Molinary, author of the upcoming book Beautiful You: A Daily Guide to Radical Self-Acceptance (Seal Press, October 2010). "Too often, we only begin to see the importance of that skill as grown women, " says Molinary.
