Fans of Glee know that the show isn't afraid to push the envelope -- and neither is Lea Michele. The breakout star joined castmates Dianna Agron (Quinn) and Cory Monteith (Finn) in a steamy GQ photo shoot that would make Rachel Berry blush! In the pictures, Michele does a sexed-up version of her prim Glee schoolgirl look, stripping down to a bra, panties, heels, and skimpy cardigans.
"I don't know how they got me to do half the stuff I did," says the 24-year-old singer and actress in the accompanying interview. She says it helps that she was "in really good shape this summer" -- thanks, presumably, to her vegan diet.
Two years of playing uptight Rachel clearly haven't hurt Michele's sex appeal. However, she hasn't always been so comfortable with her looks -- especially her nose. Michele says that her parents helped her over her high school insecurities, allowing her to become the confident performer she is now.
"My mom always told me, growing up, 'Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job,'" says Michele. "And I didn’t. F*** those people. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, 'You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.'"
Sounds like the message of Glee in a nutshell!
