While new promos for the second half of Glee's smash-hit first season are making fans of the show absolutely giddy, more great Glee news has us dancing with anticipation!
Ryan Seacrest has announced on his radio show that the Glee cast will embark on a four-city, seven-date, live tour this spring. All your favorite kids from the show's glee club will be hitting the stage (not on the roster: their leader, Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr. Shuester).
Glee Live! In Concert! kicks off with a show in Phoenix, Arizona, on May 18, and will then stage two nights in Los Angeles (May 20 & 21), two nights in Chicago (May 25 & 26) and two nights at New York's Radio City Musical Hall on May 28 & 29.
"If you had told me a year ago that I'd be performing classic rock songs in concert theaters around the country, I would never have believed you," Corey Monteith, who plays Finn, said. "We are psyched!"
Star Lea Michele (who portrays talented nerd Rachel Berry) concurred, "This has been such an extraordinary year for Glee and I can't think of a better way to finish up the first season than performing live on stage with the cast."
According to EW.com, the crowd will be singing along to the Glee cast's hit versions of tunes such as "Don't Stop Believin," "Somebody To Love," "Jump," "Don't Rain on My Parade" and "Sweet Caroline."
