FOX
It's been a while since the last new episode of Fox's Glee (125 days, but who's counting?) and a lot's happened between then and now -- Conan O'Brien broke up with NBC, The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka took up dancing and Sandra Bullock had the best/worst month ever.
Last we checked in with New Directions (McKinley High's glee club), they'd won sectionals against all odds, and the abominable Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) got suspended for leaking their set list to a rival chorus. Football jock Finn (Cory Monteith) and the ex-Cheerio Quinn (Dianna Agron) split up, clearing the way for Finn and Rachel (Lea Michele) to become Finchel. And beloved choir-master Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) planted a big one on the sweet, prim guidance counselor, Emma (Jayma Mays). As Glee's end credits rolled, lots of loose ends had been tied up.
Heck, no! Most of those loose ends will unravel again -- after all, Glee is about misfits! Certainly, there is exciting stuff on Glee's horizon: April 20's much-anticipated Madonna episode (with Jane Lynch doing her first protracted musical number), a Lady Gaga appearance in the works, and an episode directed by Joss Whedon, featuring Neil Patrick Harris (collaborators on the acclaimed web series, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog)...
...We can't wait to see what the rest of season 1 brings. And the beat goes on!
