Glee's Dianna Agron may have a new reason to cheer. Rumor has it that Agron, 24, has gotten secretly engaged to her British actor boyfriend Alex Pettyfer. The hot young stars have been dating since last summer, when they met on the set of the upcoming sci-fi flick I Am Number Four (in theaters Feb. 18).
According to People, Agron showed up to the recent press day for that film sporting a new accessory: a thin diamond band on her left ring finger. While Agron told the magazine that her love life "isn't something I like speaking [about]," another source told People that the couple was "very happy" about their engagement. And E! reports that Pettyfer, who also stars in the upcoming film Beastly, proposed shortly after the two started living together a few months ago.
"Dianna doesn't talk much about her personal life, especially with her costars, but she has told a few close friends that she is engaged to Alex," says E!'s Glee insider. Agron and Pettyfer have yet to officially confirm or deny their engagement.
Dianna isn't the only Glee star who's lucky in love: Lea Michele, 24, tells Cosmopolitan that she spends her one night a week off Skyping with boyfriend Theo Stockman.
"Take a shower, put on a robe, pour myself a glass of wine, and Skype with Theo. That's the best," says Michele, who has been dating the Broadway actor for two years. But she adds that there's not as much romance on the Glee set as people believe.
"Everyone thinks that everyone is sleeping with everyone," says the Emmy nominee. "We spend every minute of every day together, and when we're finished we all go out to dinner, so of course they think we're hooking up. I'm so thankful that doesn't happen. If people hooked up, there'd be awkward tension." Hmm, sounds like she's chosen to forget that whole Naya Rivera/Mark Salling fiasco!
After a winter hiatus, Glee returns with a vengeance this Sunday. Lea Michele will kick things off by singing "America the Beautiful" at the Super Bowl, and a special "Thriller"-themed episode of Glee will air right after the big game.
